In the spirit of unity and generosity, the Public Information and Communications Office has unveiled its heartwarming holiday initiative, “Paskwa sa ISAT” U, a community-driven program that redefines the meaning of Christmas within the university.
Far more than a festive tradition, “Paskwa sa ISAT” U is a holistic engagement strategy that seeks to strengthen the social and cultural aspect of the ISAT U community. By embracing the deeper essence of Christmas, this initiative also aims to uplift lives and foster solidarity among students, faculty, and staff.

The initiative which started on December 9, 2024, was anchored on two key components which were the Pick and Go Christmas Bazaar and the “Daigon” For A Cause. The Pick and Go Christmas Bazaar, positioned in front of the GAD Center, showcased local goods, preloved items, crafts, and treats, designed to stimulate economic activity, and support small-scale entrepreneurs within the ISAT U community. The “Daigon For A Cause, as rooted in Filipino tradition, brought together the voices of hope and joy of the non-teaching personnel and some faculty members to raise funds and prepare gift packs for the ISAT U dedicated Job hire employees.

Various offices of ISAT U opened their doors and warmly welcomed the Daigon team as they filled the campus with the joyful sounds of Christmas carols and lively dances. Through this initiative, PICO was able to achieve its objectives and was able to share the proceeds to their beneficiaries which were distributed during the employees’ Christmas party.
Paskwa sa ISAT U, spearheaded by PICO, did more than celebrate the holiday season — it reaffirmed the office’s vital role as a catalyst for community engagement, cultural enrichment, and compassionate service within the ISAT U family.
