ISAT University, Philippines and the National Institute of Technology Sasebo College (NITSC), Japan continue to strengthen their academic partnership through a dynamic student exchange program that promotes global learning, cultural understanding, and academic collaboration.

As part of the exchange, three (3) students from ISAT University: Mr. Reynaldo Jose Suello, III – BSCS 3B, Mr. Dynn Aleksandr Basco, BSCS 4A, and Mr. Christian Eduard Falconite – BSA 4A, along with Dr. May Florence Franco – Faculty, College of Computing and Informatics, traveled to Sasebo, Japan from December 6–13, 2025 for a seven-day academic and cultural immersion. During their stay, the students participated in industry immersions, attended classes, and engaged in language and cultural exchange activities. They also had the opportunity to visit various places in Japan, enriching their understanding of Japanese culture and innovation.

In return, ISAT University hosted three (3) students from NITSC for a one-month exchange program from February 23 to March 28, 2026. The delegation includes three third-year students from the Department of Control Engineering, Mr. Yuma Kubo, Mr. Fuga Matsunaga, and Mr. Kouki Mori, accompanied by visiting faculty member Mr. Dirksen Kai Pence.The visiting students attended classes related to engineering, information technology, and electronics, allowing them to experience the academic environment and instructional approaches of the University.

Beyond the classroom, the students actively participated in language and cultural exchange sessions, fostering meaningful connections with their Filipino counterparts. They also explored several cultural sites in Iloilo and Guimaras, gaining deeper appreciation of local heritage and traditions.

The student exchange program highlights the shared commitment of both institutions to internationalization, providing students with valuable opportunities to broaden their perspectives, enhance their skills, and become globally competent individuals.
Through initiatives like this, ISAT University and NIT Sasebo College continue to build strong international linkages, paving the way for future collaborations and enriching educational experiences for their students.
