Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) proudly represented Philippine higher education at the Times Higher Education Global Sustainable Development Congress 2026, held from June 22–25, 2026 in Indonesia

ISAT U President Dr. Gabriel M. Salistre, Jr. and Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Russ Allen B. Napud joined global leaders, partners, and stakeholders in meaningful discussions on sustainability, innovation, and institutional impact.

During the prestigious event, ISAT U was recognized in the Times Higher EducationSustainability Impact Ratings 2026, earning a global ranking of 1001–1500. This achievement underscores the University’s steadfast commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through education, research, community engagement, and institutional initiatives.

The Philippines emerged as the most represented country/region, with 160 universities ranked in the overall table—a milestone that highlights the growing influence and excellence of Philippine higher education on the global stage

“This recognition reflects ISAT U’s unwavering dedication to innovation, collaboration, and sustainability. We remain committed to contributing to a better, more sustainable future for our communities and the world,” said Dr. Salistre.
