Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) has officially announced the establishment of its newest academic unit, the College of Global Business and Enterprise (CGBE), pursuant to Board of Regents Resolution No. 28-2026. The college is set to begin its operations in theFirst Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027, marking a significant milestone in the university’s expansion and commitment to global education.
The newly created college will house programs designed to meet the demands of dynamic industries and foster innovation among students. These include:
- Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management
- Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management
- Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship
- Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design and Merchandising
- Master of Science in Hospitality Management (upcoming program offering)
University officials emphasized that the creation of the CGBE reflects ISAT U’s vision of producing graduates who are not only industry-ready but also globally competitive. The programs are tailored to strengthen Iloilo’s role as a hub for tourism, entrepreneurship, and creative industries, while also opening pathways for advanced research and professional development through graduate studies.
The College of Global Business and Enterprise is expected to attract students from across the Philippines and beyond, offering a blend of academic rigor, practical training, and international perspectives.
