Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) welcomed Dr. Arvin N. Natividad, newly appointed Vice President for Institutional Development and External Affairs of Southern Luzon State University (SLSU), for a cross-learning activity on August 27, 2026.
Dr. Natividad visited ISAT U’s Office of the Vice President for External Affairs (VPEA) to gain insights into its key functions, particularly its strategies for establishing and strengthening local and international partnerships and implementing collaborative programs.
The discussion was led by Dr. Juniffer B. Badoles, Vice President for External Affairs of ISAT U. It highlighted the roles of the four offices under the VPEA: Alumni Affairs and Relations, Industry Linkages and Development, National and International Affairs, and Parents’ Affairs and Relations.
The activity also explored how these offices work together to advance the interests and welfare of ISAT U’s stakeholders. Through the exchange of institutional practices and experiences, the engagement provided an opportunity for both universities to strengthen their approaches to external relations, partnership-building, and stakeholder engagement.
The cross-learning activity further reinforced the growing collaboration between ISAT U and SLSU, whose institutional partnership was formalized in January 2026. Both universities remain committed to promoting knowledge exchange and pursuing collaborative initiatives that support institutional development and academic excellence.
