Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) Iloilo City Campus earned four awards during the Regional Orientation and Coordination Activity for Higher Education Institutions in Western Visayas, known as PROJECT GABAY.
Hosted by the Commission on Higher Education-Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education Regional Office VI (CHED UniFAST RO VI), the activity was held on August 27, 2026, at Sotogrande Hotel. It recognized higher education institutions for their compliance, efficiency, and dedication to implementing student financial assistance programs.
ISAT U received the following distinctions:
- 1st Place – Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES): Awarded for exceptional compliance, efficiency, and timely adherence to program guidelines.
- 1st Place – Cashier Transactions: Recognized for outstanding accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in processing transactions.
- 2nd Place – Tulong Dunong Program (TDP): Conferred for exemplary commitment and effective coordination in delivering the program.
- 3rd Place – Liquidation: Awarded for diligence and discipline in promptly submitting complete financial reports.
The awards reflect the coordinated efforts of the University’s administrators and personnel in ensuring that financial assistance reaches qualified students efficiently and responsibly.
