University Successfully Holds Blood Donation Drive

Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) proudly announced the successful conduct of its Blood Donation Drive at ISAT U – CHERC, La Paz, Iloilo City, on April 14, 2026.

The initiative, held in partnership with the ISAT U Red Cross Youth, Philippine Red Cross Iloilo Chapter, Iloilo Science and Technology Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative, ISAT U Alumni Affairs, and the Organization of Industrial Technologists, brought together students, faculty, staff, and community members united by one noble purpose: to save lives.

Through the spirit of volunteerism and compassion, the donors generously offered their blood, giving patients in need a second chance at life. Each donation symbolized hope and underscored the profound impact of even a single act of kindness.

The activity highlighted the importance of community involvement in health-related causes and reinforced the life-saving value of blood donation. Beyond the immediate benefit to recipients, the drive served as a reminder that collective action can create lasting change.

Nueva Vizcaya State University Visits ISAT U’s Sports Affairs for Benchmarking

Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) proudly welcomed the benchmarking team from Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) on April 10, 2026, at the Cafeteria Function Room. The visit served as a dynamic platform for exchanging insights, best practices, and innovative strategies in sports development—strengthening the shared commitment of state universities and colleges to foster excellence in athletics.

The NVSU delegation was headed by Mr. Joseph B. Bubod, Director for Sports Development, while ISAT U was represented by Dr. Leomar B. De Los Santos, Director for Sports Affairs. Both leaders emphasized the importance of collaboration and knowledge-sharing in advancing institutional capabilities and enhancing athletic programs.

Throughout the benchmarking activity, discussions highlighted innovative approaches to sports management and athlete development, collaborative strategies for building stronger sports, programs across SUCs and mutual learning opportunities that encourage continuous improvement and sustainability.
