Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) held the Testimonial AwardsCelebration 2026 on September 9, 2026, to recognize and honor the outstanding contributions, unwavering commitment, and invaluable service of its faculty and staff.

The celebration which was held at the university Multi-Purpose Educational Center, paid tribute to the University’s Loyalty Awardees, whose many years of steadfast dedication have significantly contributed to the continued growth and development of ISAT U. The institution also honored its Term-enders, Retirees, recognizing their remarkable service, accomplishments, and lasting contributions to the University community.

Their hard work, professionalism, and commitment have helped shape the history, progress, and success of ISAT U. Through the years, they have served as exemplary members of the academic community and have made a meaningful difference in the lives of students, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Dr. Raul F. Muyong, former ISAT U President, and newly appointed Assistant to the University President for Governance, Advocacy, and Quality Assurance, delivered an inspirational message during the event. He highlighted the steadfast public service rendered by the awardees which was anchored on ISAT U core values emphasizing that they served with unwavering integrity, demonstrated deep commitment to the university vision, maintained accountability in every duty , showed immediate responsiveness to the needs of the community and consistently strived for excellence  in all their endeavors.

ISAT U extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the awardees and retirees for their years of dedicated service to the institution and the community. Their legacy will continue to inspire future generations of the ISAT U family.

The Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) community formally opened its 121st Founding Anniversary Celebration on September 9, 2026, marking the beginning of a three-day celebration of the University’s rich history, achievements, and enduring commitment to excellence.

The opening program which was started by the foot parade and street dance was made more meaningful by an inspiring address from the distinguished guest speaker, Hon. Artemio P. Pama, Jr., Private Sector Representative of the ISAT U Board of Regents. His message highlighted the importance of legacy which for him does not only mean perfecting what was built by those who came before us, but by creating opportunities as an answer to what the world needs from us. He also emphasized the importance of determination, gratitude, and the willingness to uplift others as students pursue their goals and journey toward success.

The celebration brings together students, faculty members, administrative personnel, alumni, and stakeholders in a series of activities designed to showcase the talents, accomplishments, and vibrant community spirit of ISAT U.

More exciting events, competitions, and activities are set to take place throughout the celebration as the University community honors its legacy and looks forward to a brighter future.
