Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) joined the 2026 DOST Regional Science,Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW) held in Kalibo, Aklan, from October 1–3, 2026, highlighting the University’s contributions to science, technology, innovation, and regional development.
ISAT U President Dr. Gabriel M. Salistre, Jr. attended the opening ceremony on October 1, joining government leaders, academic institutions, industry partners, and other stakeholders in celebrating advancements and initiatives in science, technology, and innovation across the region.
As part of the three-day celebration, ISAT U participated in the exhibition, showcasing selected products, technologies, and innovations developed through its academic, research, and innovation initiatives.










Among the featured exhibits were Hablon products, the IDEAMS web application, and startup innovations developed through KWADRA Technology Business Incubator (TBI), including DraftMaster and AssociHealth.
The exhibition provided an avenue for ISAT U to demonstrate how research, technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation can be translated into practical solutions and products that respond to community and industry needs.
ISAT U’s participation also underscores the University’s commitment to strengthening partnerships and promoting innovation-driven initiatives that contribute to sustainable regional development.
The 2026 DOST Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week brought together various stakeholders to showcase science and technology initiatives, foster collaboration, and highlight innovations that address emerging challenges and support inclusive and sustainable development in the region.
Through its participation, ISAT U continues to position itself as an active partner in advancing science, technology, research, and innovation toward meaningful societal impact.
